Comprehensive Clinical Education
Empowering healthcare professionals with practical knowledge and advanced skills.
Educational Opportunities
PCAD is partnered with Lincoln University and their satellite campuses on Fort Leonard Wood and Saint Robert to provide a supportive space for students to complete their clinicals.
We also partner with other local agencies, like fire and law enforcement, to participate in training’s together so everyone works well as a team and is prepared for any emergency.
Training and Continuing Education (CEUs)
We utilize FOAMFRAT, an online platform, to maintain CEU’s required for state licensure and national registry. We also hold several mandatory in class training sessions throughout the year, some classes inviting outside teaching sources.
Equipment Used in Education and Training
We use state of the art equipment on our ambulances to provide the best care for our patients. We utilize the Zoll Zenix monitor, the Z vent, Ferno stretchers and stairchairs.
We have regular training throughout the year to ensure our staff is fully comfortable and knowledgeable with all equipment on our ambulances.
External Partnerships
We connect with regional and state EMS organizations to broaden educational access and professional development. Partnerships with associations provide additional continuing education opportunities, leadership training, and best‑practice seminars to support ongoing learning for EMS professionals statewide.
